About us

We ran too. And we couldn't find our photos.

I'm Alfonso. I like to run, and every now and then I do triathlon with my wife Saida.

After a few races we kept hitting the same wall: yes, photographers were taking pictures — but finding ours among thousands was an odyssey. Most of the time we gave up before we got there.

As a developer, I got obsessed with solving it from code: face recognition, bib detection, a search that actually understands what you're asking for.

Saida brought the human side: how to make it useful on both ends — the athlete searching and the photographer uploading hundreds of photos a day.

A race produces thousands of photos. For the athlete, finding yourself takes work. For the photographer, organising and selling is its own grind. ZebraSnap takes that friction out — that's the whole idea.

One of the best photos I have of my dad was taken by someone at a race years ago, at the Mexico City Marathon.

It's a simple photo — and that's exactly why it matters. Those are the moments we want to make easier to find.

That's ZebraSnap.

A simpler way to connect athletes with their photos. No noise.
